VH100R

One of the Laney's flagship models. Introduced in 1993(?), the VH100R has wide range of top notch sounds just waiting to be unleashed. Ultra versatility does not mean sacrificing tone. From country to jazz to blues to rock to full on death metal, this amp will not disappoint. The drive channel of this amp is essentially identical to the GH100L, so you can expect the same responsive, tight, natural smooth gain that are never mushy. As with the GH series, the distortion is very dependent on the picking, rolling back on the volume knob on your guitar will result in cleaner sounds. The clean channel is sublime, probably one of the best clean among high gain amps. Beautifully lush and 3D sound that stays clean at high volume levels. Turn on the drive on the clean channel and you're in blues heaven. Clapton, SRV, Jimi, it's all there. Percussive, sweet mild breakup is available. All this supplemented by the on board reverb and 5 (yes 5) effects loops to taylor your sound however you want. Probably one of the most versatile AND great sounding amp on sale today. The price?
